The idea

Built, not moulded.

A factory presses ten thousand of a thing before lunch. A printer draws one, line over line, until it exists. It takes hours.

Hold a piece up to the light and you can count the lines. That is not a flaw in it. That is the record of it being made, for one person, on purpose.

Everything here is made to order. Choose the colour and the size, pay by card, and it goes on the printer the same day. Sizes are real measurements, so nothing turns up smaller than you pictured.

The four things everybody wants to know.

These are the worries people carry into a printed gift. Here they are, answered up front instead of buried in a listing.

It ships in 1 to 3 days.

Not two weeks. Not made to order followed by silence. Most orders leave here inside three days, which is exactly why it is at the top of the page and not in the small print.

Yes, you will see the lines.

Up close every piece shows fine horizontal lines. That is what printed looks like, and it is the reason it exists at all. Nobody has ever sent one back over it.

It is rigid, and it holds.

Not the bendy stuff from a cheap machine. A controller stand takes a controller. A wine holder takes a full bottle and stays put.

The sizes are real numbers.

Every listing carries the actual measurements in millimetres. The most common disappointment with a gift is that it turned up smaller than the photo suggested. That one is easy to prevent.

Four hours, four seconds

Press and hold to print one.

Press and hold the button to build the object layer by layer. Release early and it settles back down.

Every line you just watched land is one sweep of a hot nozzle laying down a thread of plastic about a fifth of a millimetre thick. Then it does it again. Then again.

A plant pot is roughly nine hundred of those. A dragon is closer to two thousand. That is why one takes an afternoon and why no two are quite identical.

Questions

The ones people actually ask.

If you own a printer, honestly, yes. Most of these are several hours of print time plus the failed attempts it took to get the shape right. If that sounds like a good evening, go and enjoy it. If it sounds like a chore, that is the whole job we do.

There is a drainage hole in the base, so water runs through rather than sitting inside and finding a seam. Put a saucer under it, the same as any other pot, and your table stays dry.

Every listing carries the measurements in millimetres, not a vague word like small. If you want one bigger or smaller than what is listed, ask before you order and we will tell you straight whether it prints well at that size.

Yes. Word pieces are made per order, so the word is up to you. Send it with the order and check the spelling twice, because we print exactly what arrives.

Tell us and we print another one. It costs us filament and an afternoon, which is a much better trade than you being stuck with a broken gift.

Ordering three days ahead is enough for us. After that it is down to the post. If the date is tight, say so when you order and we will tell you honestly whether it will make it.
